got the kit from Fokkerc Chakarof in October 2024 and have got quite a bit done this past year on the dh88 so i thought i would share the progress so far .you will note that the first engines i was going to use rcgf gas engines but then managed to get hold of another Laser 180 so it was the only way to go.still quite a bit more to do but with the help of my son Ryan on the wiring looms etc we will get it done for the spring/summer .just need to weather to get walmer so i can get on the top gloss coat .and can i just thank Isaac Najary

Successful Test Flight Update
Yesterday we had a very successful test flight. It turned out that the issue during the first test flight was indeed the center of gravity.
After moving the CG 4 cm forward, to 169 cm from the nose, the aircraft flew perfectly and without any issues.
That said, this aircraft still requires careful handling — it has a sharp stall characteristic at low airspeed, so maintaining sufficient airspeed at all times is critical.
Here are some key takeaways from the test flights:
No flaps are required during takeoff.
During landing with flaps deployed, I slightly raise the ailerons to create washout.
Maximum airspeed in straight and level flight was 186 km/h.
The vertical climb performance was very impressive, clearly showcasing the strong power of the motors.
Maximum current draw was 188 amps.
Maximum combined power of both motors was 8,374 watts.
Touchdown airspeed during landing was 36 km/h.
