The construction is taking place within the scope of the supplied kit. I only replaced some parts exposed to heavy stress, or supplemented them with birch aircraft plywood. These are the parts around the landing gear. The landing flaps were also changed. The trailing edge of the wing is bent at the root. This is due to the depth of the root rib. Therefore, I made new original flaps and they are partially twisted. It's not completely perfect, but it improved the situation. I used the supplied 3D prints. Only on the intake opening I made a new deflector, which is printed from ASA filament. The covering of the wings and tail surfaces is made of the recommended balsa, 2.5 m thick. The covering of the lifting surfaces is glued with polyurethane glue. The fuselage is covered with balsa strips 4 mm thick and 12 mm wide and dispersion glue is used. It is a bit more laborious, but it will save time for puttying. The rear brake shields will be installed, but they will not be functional. Although I will be cheated of the effect, it is necessary to save weight behind the center of gravity. The main landing gear mechanics are Electron 40, the legs correspond to the construction drawing. The nose landing gear is used with modified Toprc mechanics. The ailerons are equipped with mini Savox SV-1261HV servos (20 kg/7.4V). The elevator has 12 mm OCS 2510 HV micro servos. (22kg/8.4V). The KingMax RGD01 Low profile rudder. The landing flaps are controlled by JX HV6223 servos. Other servos of various types will be installed to control the landing gear covers and the nose wheel. The basic cover will be made of 50 g/m2 glass fabric. I am using L285 resin. The final surface treatment has not yet been decided.
The drive will be provided by a Xicoy 160 turbine set to a thrust of 130 N. The outlet pipe has a diameter of 80 mm, the tank is a laminate with a capacity of 3 l, which is safely enough for 6 minutes of flight. I don't fly longer anyway. I use a Jeti 24 for control, in combination with a Power Box Pioneer central box with stabilization and two Jeti R3 Rex satellites. I will use a sequencer transmitter to control the landing gear covers. It would be better to use a Xicoy LGC 25L. This will save 4 channels for controlling the landing gear covers.
